The public has a right to access public information maintained by government agencies, including the California State Library and the California State Library Board. Requests for inspection or copying of public records may be directed to the Public Records Coordinator at the State Library via email, telephone or letter provided below:

- The name of the requestor.
- A mailing address, telephone number and/or email address.
- A clear description of the records requested.
