AWE Early Literacy Stations:
An Opportunity for California
Public Libraries

In December the State Librarian announced that 100 AWE Early Literacy Stations (50 English and 50 Bilingual-Spanish/English) would be available for selected California public libraries to purchase through Califa Group for $500 each (less than 20% of the normal price). We are pleased to announce that the application process for this opportunity is now open.

To apply, please use the online application at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/BZPV3ZC. Applications are due by Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

A print version of the application is available for your reference. Because you'll have to complete your online application in one session, we strongly suggest that you refer to the print version and develop your answers before going online.

Libraries may apply to purchase up to 2 stations; jurisdictions designated as LIPC (local income per capita) Level I will receive priority. Use this LIPC list to determine your library's LIPC level.

Applicants will be notified by Monday, March 7, 2016.
