Notice: As of March 23, 2009, the Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL) has merged its reading room and storage facilities with the Witkin State Law Library and the Information Services and Government Publications Sections. The temporary new home for our sister sections is due to the renovation project for the restoration of the California State Library's historic Stanley Mosk Library & Courts Building. The historic rennovation of LC1 is slated to last for approximately two years. The majority of BTBL's closed stacks braille collection has been relocated to a temporary West Sacramento storage facility, but normal braille delivery schedules are being maintained. The browsable braille collection consisting of the most recently issued NLS braille titles remains in the BTBL Sacramento reading room. We thank you for your patience. Please call us if you have any questions or concerns.
