Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL)
The California State Library loans braille, cassette and digital talking books, magazines, playback equipment, and descriptive videos to northern Californians unable to read conventional print.
BTBL patrons may order digital, cassette, and braille books, and descriptive videos, and otherwise manage their BTBL accounts directly from our Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). You will need a User ID and Password in order to log in to and manage your account. Please contact the library at (800) 952-5666 (toll free in CA) or (916) 654-0640 to obtain a User ID and Password.
