To comply with the Governor's furlough order, the California State Library will close its offices and public service desks in Sacramento and San Francisco the first three Fridays of each month, from August 2009 through June 2010.  Because New Year's Day falls on a Friday, furlough days in January 2010 will be January 8, 15, and 22.  Click here for a complete list of furlough days through June 2010.
