Sutro Library at San Francisco

The Sutro Library is now open!

ANNOUNCEMENT:
The Sutro Library, located on the campus of San Francisco State University, will be closed for Winter Break, December 24–January 1. It will reopen January 2 at 10 a.m.

The Sutro Library re-opened at its new location on August 1, 2012. Genealogists, historians, and other researchers can discover the Sutro’s rich collections and resources housed in a spacious, well-lit reading room designed specifically for our patrons.

Here is what you need to know:

Sutro is located on the 5th Floor of the newly renovated J. Paul Leonard
and Sutro Library on the San Francisco State University campus.

Hours

Monday – Friday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Parking and Getting Around

University parking and free shuttle service to our new location will be available.
